A simple USB connection is all it takes, & the provided software allows you to view real-time video. The digital microscope can work from varying distances, & provides a safe way to view things. It’s often used for watch-repair & soldering, because it can provide h&s-free magnification on a computer screen. The UTP200X020MP uses a universal UVC driver, so it is compatible with most desktop computers including Windows, Mac, & Linux operating systems. The provided software for Windows includes advanced tools for time-lapse, image-stitching, measurements, & much more. The lite version of the software for Mac & Linux provides basic functionality for capturing photos & videos, along with color-correction & measurement tools. For &roid users, an OTG micro-USB or USB-C adapter (not provided) can be used to connect the microscope to OTG-compatible devices, such as smartphones & tablets.
