Constructed of corrosion resistant stainless steel, fastener installs grab bars without backing – no need to open or reconstruct walls. For 2-1/2in and 3-1/2in or deeper hollow walls with finished wall surfaces 1/4in to 1-1/2in thick. Can be used on walls with a minimum of 5/8in thick painted or tiled drywall, or 1/2in thick drywall with added finished wall material. Fastener will support 300-lb. Load exceeding all building code and governmental agency guidelines, including ada accessibility guidelines in the u.s.a. One fastener is required for each flange.
