This panel is a main lug panel which is used as sub-panel to add circuits to an existing main breaker panel. Sub panels are often used in a garage home addition barn or storage shed and/or workshop. The branch breakers protect the wires leading to individual electrical loads such as fixtures and outlets. The BR612L125RP is a 125 amp main lug with 6 spaces and 12 circuits.
