Crown Tools 2226 3/4" 19 mm Straight Gouge is hot forged from the finest carbon steel, hardened and tempered to achieve a Rockwell hardness. The blade is hand ground in the traditional manner, fitted with attractive brass ferruled Beechwood handle. These tools will remain sharp during long periods of demanding professional use. They are finely polished inside and the bevel is carefully ground.
