Omnimed informatics work centers are constructed of durable powder coated heavy gauge steel in Beige or light Grey. The center has 2 compartments that have separate locks to secure equipment. The top area, with its flat key lock, stores the PC and has side ventilation openings to disperse heat. The lower compartment has mounting plates for up to a 19" monitor, mouse storage pocket, a keyboard slide and an electronic programmable lock. The fold down door of this area provides a large work space and has a gas cylinder for smooth and adjustable closures. Both compartments have multiple entry ports for power and network Cabling. The programmable lock has an automatic security mechanism and requires an additional purchase of a manger key and programming key to operate the lock. Only one set of keys is needed per facility. The station measures 42 H x 24 1/2 W x 4 D and comes with a 5 year warranty on the desk and 1 year on the gas spring and locks.
