Acorn m-1776-bd3 murdock classic barrier free freeze resistant push button outdoor drinking fountain model m-1776-bd3 old style is a drinking fountain of victorian-era design capable of year-round use in freezing weather with 3 foot depth of bury. The pedestal is a heavy, one-piece iron casting extending from grade level to bowl. The pedestal is embossed with decorative filigree and finished with a heavy grade of oil-based black enamel. The bowl is a round, polished solid brass casting with the drain opening adequately protected from stoppage or vandalism. The bubbler is a polished solid brass casting with angle stream outlet at center of bowl and above bowl rim. The mouth guard is a polished solid brass casting to meet sanitary requirements. The valve is foot-pedal operated, spring-loaded to close. The pedal is aluminum bronze, finished with a heavy grade of oil-based black enamel. All solid brass castings shall conform to astm standards b61 and b62. Valve and bubbler conform to lead-free requirements of nsf61, section 9, 1997 and chsc 116875.
