The filter service indicator gauge is a low pressure return line oil gauge designed to show when a system needs service (operating normally will need service soon or filter and fluid need serviced or replaced). The 1/8 inch back center mount fit return line filter head contains castings with a 1/8 inch female national pipe thread gauge port.
